The available one-third octave band sound data for solar panel inverters have shown low levels at the frequencies of concern. In fact, New York State recently revised its renewable energy permitting rules, and solar projects are no longer required to demonstrate that there are no adverse effects of low frequency (LFN) or infrasound (IF) in project communities.
