Jeff Hammond, Director of Project Development for Apex Clean Energy, is the primary contact for Red Brick Solar and leads development efforts in the Mid-Atlantic PJM region. Jeff has extensive wind and solar experience having worked in the renewable energy industry since 2007. He has successfully developed over a gigawatt of wind and solar energy projects in many states including lead development efforts in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Before joining the renewable energy industry, Jeff spent 20+ years in the United States Coast Guard. He retired in 2005 at the rank of Commander. Jeff holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Caleigh Sturgeon, Project Developer at Apex Clean Energy, graduated from the University of Virginia in 2020 with a degree in policy and law. She helps develop solar and wind projects in Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, and is instrumental in Apex’s greenfield prospecting efforts. Caleigh has a passion for renewable energy and enjoys getting to know project landowners and making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
